The project team will work with local residents, businesses and organisations throughout the planning application process. The consultation process is facilitated by Soundings to ensure that views from the local community are listened to, and given consideration to, with regards to the emerging plan.
The consultation process started in June 2016, and some of the consultation events and activities included: the launch of this website and a freephone, a stand at the Morlake Fair 2016, attending various community meetings, a drop-in exhibition (March 2017) etc. A second public drop-in exhibition is coming soon (June 2017), please check in here for the confirmed dates.
Additionally, a Community Liaison Group has been formed, consisting of representatives from local community groups, residents groups, businesses and parent groups. This group will meet regularly, to discuss specific aspects of the Stag Brewery Redevelopment with the project team.
